Founded more than 30 years ago by Neil Abel upon graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, ACI Catering Group (ACI) is a family-owned company that has delighted in serving the New England community with exceptional kosher and non- kosher cuisine. Abel Caterers Elegant Events, ACI’s kosher catering division, and Brian Averna Catering, ACI’s full service off-premise catering division, reflect the combined expertise, creativity, reliability, and exceptional value that four generations of catering heritage offer. Today, following in the great catering tradition of her father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Meredith Abel, Neil’s daughter, oversees ACI along with her talented staff, many of whom have been with the company since it was founded.
